About
the Author
F. Wesley Brosman has been many things in
his lifetime. He was born in the San
Joaquin Valley in the heart of the
depression to dust bowl immigrants to
California. He struggled to adapt to a
life as a hearing impaired person in an
era of little or no social services nor
aid to hearing impaired persons. He has
been a service station attendant, a truck
driver, factory worker, union organizer, a
journeyman plumber and small business
owner. All during these times he attended
various colleges whenever he could. After
20 some years he achieved his dream and
received a B.A.. In the closing years of
his working life, he became a teacher and
received a postgraduate degree while
serving as the president of a local
teacher's union. Currently he resides in
western Washington in a small seaport town
and travels extensively throughout Europe.
He is an advocate for handicapped rights
under the Americans with Disabilities Act,
gaining access to many locations where
access has been denied.
